Bradford – Shrewsbury betting preview and advices
At the beginning of the campaign, Bradford was considered as one of the candidates for the podium, a minimum objective was to finish in the top 6. The season’s start met expectations and the Bantams with 8 wins in 12 rounds loudly declared themselves, taking leading positions in the league. As is typical for Bradford, the team fell into a deep crisis in the mid-season, but if in previous years, they managed to overcome it quickly, this time the club could not find a solution to its problems… The hosts became the League One main disappointment! The Bantams ended last year on a positive note, however, everything turned upside down with in 2018 – 10 defeats in 13 rounds with just one win! This is the worst current record in the division; even outsiders are playing better now. In the spring, it became more trouble than it was, as Bradford’s forwards forgets how to score and could only once find the net in the last six games, which infuriated not only their fans, but also the club’s management. The defeat with a score of 5-0 in Blackpool last week was the last straw and head coach Simon Grayson launched his attacks on the players…

Simon Grayson was shocked by his team’s football last week, and said “I could have made 11 changes. I could make 11 changes for Thursday night. There’s got to be a reaction for Thursday!” Of course, it is unlikely that today we will see all the starting XI on the bench, but we can be sure that completely different team will play against Shrewsbury, because another failure is not an option for the hosts today. The Bantams will pull themselves together and demonstrate their best football and it does not matter that the guests are in good form and third in the standings now. Bradford’s players thanked the fans for their support and said that ‘the best way to apologise is to offer a performance they can all be proud of on Thursday’, then so be it!
